What is the difference between “lack of faith” and “unbelief”? I’m confused about this because Jesus said his disciples were unable to heal them because of their unbelief, not their lack of faith.

Psalm 146:3, in the King James Version, says not to put your trust in princes nor in the son of man. But Jesus refers to Himself as the Son of man. Could you please help me to understand this?

Does God have faith? Some say in creation He used faith to create the world.

1 Timothy 5:8 says, “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” I have always been surprised by this verse. How can not providing for oneself or family be worse than being without faith as an unbeliever? I am aware that 2 Thessalonians 3:10 applies to those that were becoming lazy and quit working while they were waiting for the rapture but I don’t know about the context of 1 Timothy 5:8.

I whole heartily believe that Christ saves us by His grace and His mercy. It’s by His sacrificial blood that He shed on the cross that gives us hope of eternity. But doesn’t belief of “faith only” invalidate what James said in James 2?

Why do some people seem to have an abundance of faith, and some, like myself, struggle with it? Does this mean I’m not really saved?

If I pray for deliverance from sickness or disease, but I am not healed, does that mean my faith is not strong enough for God to heal me?
