I am African. How do I reconcile the thought that the white man (colonial masters) brought us, Africans the true and only God, Jesus Christ when the bible was the main instrument in our colonization, where the masters were teaching us to respect and obey authority while they were maltreating us and stealing our natural resources? Also, our forefathers were very spiritual in their traditional African Religion as a form of worship to who they considered as God, but now, because of Christianity and the Bible is now called idol worship and these people were even more spiritual than some of the Christians today.

According to John 19:31-36, did they break Jesus’ ribs when they pierced him? It said not one of his bones will be broken. I’m confused on that detail.

Is it true or not that saying ‘OMG’ or ‘Oh my God’ as a reaction is a sin? As it said in the Bible from Exodus 20:7 NIV, “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.”

“Everything has already been decided. It was known long ago what each person would be. So there’s no use arguing with God about your destiny.” (Ecclesiastes‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬). Can you explain this verse because what I’m getting is everything is out of our control which basically removes the point and power of prayer? Why do we pray if it’s going to happen regardless?‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

My pastor is biased. He always supports his kids in whatever wrong they do, but he condemns the church immediately which he is supposed to do. But he always backs up his son and when I personally spoke to him. He said we need to give little leniency to pastor kids. Is this correct according to Bible?

The Bible says that God is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Will there really be an end? It sounds pretty final. If not, why does the message not say that God is the beginning and the forever after? Will there come a time when God just says, “It is finished” and be done with us? The end?
