With Jesus telling Mary to now consider John as her own son, Jesus is ensuring that Mary will be cared for.  Since Jesus Christ told his disciples that from now on, they had to take care of Jesus’ mother…should now all disciples bring our prayers to Mother Mary, as she told Jesus Christ to turn water into wine?
