When Jesus raised the 12-year-old girl from the dead, it says that only Peter, James and John were with Him. So how do the books of Matthew and Mark have this account in them? Or are their books full of all the stories that were just commonly told and not necessarily firsthand, witnessed accounts?

Is this the real translation of Matthew 6:26, “…the believer looks at the birds in the sky, that do not reap nor gather into the barns, and trust that the Father will provide.”? In this verse Jesus tells his followers not to be anxious about food, but to rely on God as the birds, who are worth far less than people, are fully provided for.” It seems to me it is putting humans on a higher level than nature, which is disturbing to me. It seems the original Aramaic and indeed Jesus the Christ would not say such a thing. I believe Jesus the Christ cared about all life as being a precious gift.

Why, according to Numbers 15:32-36, was a man put to death for gathering sticks on the Sabbath and in Mark 2:23-27 the disciples did not get the same punishment for picking some ears of corn? And again, in Mark 2:25, why were the lives of David and his men spared after eating bread meant for priests? What is it that the disciples and David did that the man in Numbers did not do?

In the book of Jonah it doesn’t speak of a whale. Instead it speaks of a great fish. However, in Matthew, Jesus specifically calls it a whale, yet scholars still say that it was not a whale and the Aramaic translation says a great fish. So, whom do we believe?
