Please explain James 2:9. Because I favor my son over strangers, am I committing a sin? I definitely favor my children or family over strangers. I care for all people and want everyone saved. But I don’t cry at every stranger’s obituary like I do a loved one. So, is loving your children, mother, or sister a sin because we should love the stranger just as much?
