In Roman 13:1-6 and 1 Peter 2:13-15, we are told to submit to governing authorities. If a Christian happens to live in an area governed by extremist groups like Al Qaeda, Al Shabab or Boko Haram, is such a believer obliged to be submissive to them?

How do we, as part of the congregation in a church, deal with Pastors and those in leadership who don’t know how to lead in love? So many Pastors do nothing but get up on Sunday mornings and preach and leave a congregation floundering around during the week. I know the Bible speaks of the lost sheep and the one found (Luke 15:4-7) but what about the discipling and nurturing of those same sheep? Does the Pastor have that responsibility or does that come from the sheep themselves to nurture each other.

I have a friend who was brought up Catholic and says when we take communion it is a sacrifice. This is the time I commune in relationship to Jesus and the sacrifice he made for my sins. I was wondering what your thoughts are on this.
