The idea that we can worship in frequencies is new to me.  I had to do some research on the Internet to get an understanding about what this means.  I read on one site, “If we go into a prevailing fervent prayer, praise, and worship we will enter into a door in the heavenly realm.  A door that leads us to a place where synergy, sound waves, and heightened frequencies release a wisdom accessed by the spirit of God.  Wisdom that is touching earth right now.  If we begin to access it we will reach higher levels.  We will hear and see the things of God in heights and depths of revelation that we have never walked in before.  Even God’s word will reveal itself to us in new ways as a light shining off the pages.  Those waves and frequencies of heaven will be “received” and upon receiving it we will understand things that we now know but have not previously comprehended.  The alignment of the frequencies of the Heavenly Glory realm are causing a recalibration that is repositioning God’s people.  Our prayers, praise, and worship are activation keys for the body of Christ.”

This “prophet” Phyllis Ford went on to write, “Just as high pitch frequency can shatter glass or catch the ear of a dog from far away.  There are sounds in the heavenly realm that are open to us.  The Lord as he shared the concept to me said that this is not NEW but it was an answer to that which he spoke concerning sound waves and frequencies.”  Notice that this teaching came to her in a supposedly “private message” from the Lord.  She goes on to quote 2 Corinthians 2 from The Message Bible.  I would caution people against this so-called Bible.  It is not a translation.  It is not even a proper paraphrase.  It is more like a commentary of its writer Eugene H. Peterson.  In fact, if you compare 2 Corinthians 2 in The Message to some of the more accepted and reliable translations (KJV, NKJV, NASB, etc.), you will see some great differences in context.

I also listened to a “song of frequencies” called “Wash Over Me-444HZ Prophetic Worship in Gods Frequency! Healing for the Soul! 528hz-The Key of David.”  There were very few words, mostly stringed instruments rising as the singer sang the words, “wash over me.”  This seemed to be an attempt to sensationalize the senses into a state of worship.  This is not a scriptural way to worship the Lord. This is so contrary to the Word of God when it tells us simply, “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” (Psalm 29:2).

This whole concept of worshipping in frequencies seems to be mystical and New Age.  The instruction to worshipping the Lord in a way that He hears and accepts is found in John 4:24, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”  Here, spirit is in contrast to any legal ceremonies, and truth is in contrast to any Jewish or any religious rites.  No empty or hypocritical services appeal to the Lord.  True worship does not need any outside influences such as music or reaching a particular frequency to reach the Lord.  We will worship the Lord in “spirit and in truth” when we humble ourselves before Him and appreciate Him for who He is and what He has done, is doing, and will do for us.

True worship comes from a heart that knows the Lord, desires to please and honor Him, and is pleased to kneel at His feet and pour out love, appreciation, and awe of Him.  (CC)  (565.6)
