How do we, as part of the congregation in a church, deal with Pastors and those in leadership who don’t know how to lead in love? So many Pastors do nothing but get up on Sunday mornings and preach and leave a congregation floundering around during the week. I know the Bible speaks of the lost sheep and the one found (Luke 15:4-7) but what about the discipling and nurturing of those same sheep? Does the Pastor have that responsibility or does that come from the sheep themselves to nurture each other.

I have some friends who believe they can know the exact day that Jesus will return, so they are always searching the Bible and the book of Daniel to find timelines and days. I think this is foolish. The Bible says so plainly that “no one knows….” but these people ignore that and keep searching and adding days and years from festival days… what do you say to them?

The Bible talks about the Israelites making sacrifices to God. It has been my understanding that Jesus is the Messiah and that his blood sacrifice and death was all that was needed for forgiveness of sins for those that are under the blood of Christ. We have been redeemed by his blood and the Jews who believe in him also have freedom from the law that requires them to make these sacrifices. Is there a scripture that defines Jesus as being the final sacrifice? I see a lot of scripture that refers to him being a sacrifice but not the final.
