I have heard the saying “Bless your heart.” When I first heard it, I thought it was sweet. But I’ve been told that it can mean something totally different. It can be used for an insult like you are calling that person an idiot. It makes me believe that it’s taking the Lord’s name in vain. If you say, “Bless your heart” and mean it as an insult, is it blasphemy?

In Ephesians 4:11 Paul talks about the gifts of the Holy Spirit, how some are to be pastors, some teachers, some evangelists, etc. I have been a born-again Christian for many years and although I don’t live by feelings or sight but by faith, I feel that I still don’t know what my gifts are. Does the Word of God say that some are to stay behind and pray for those who have those gifts?

What does the Bible prescribe on burying the dead body? I have seen burials where family members make sure the dead is facing the right direction and removing clothes from the casket before the grave is covered. After burial, are Christians allowed by scriptures to come back for prayers after three days to the grave?
