How can you be so sure that God exists? The Bible says God answers sincere hearts’ prayers, yet he ignores my prayers. Why is that? They say maybe it’s not meant to happen. In that case, why does God keep us in the same situation no matter how much you try to change the situation?

Hebrews 12:17 and Hebrews 10:26 sounds like if you sin after accepting Christ as your savior that God won’t forgive you, even though you seek forgiveness with many tears. I sometimes ask for forgiveness over and over again for a particular sin. I just can’t get over this sin. Will Jesus forgive me?

I have a question about Abraham, Sarah and Hagar and God’s “role” in Hagar’s pregnancy. If he can see the future, and have control over it, like we see He did to let Jesus be born, why not just let Hagar NOT become pregnant? How much “control” does he really have – because look at all the troubles we have today with Islam?

1 Timothy 4:10 says, “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.” What does it mean that God is “the savior of all men, especially of those that believe?”

A childhood friend of mine who’s in college has become an atheist. She used to be a Christian, but stopped believing at some point after starting school a couple years ago. She says that after doing a lot of research, she’s concluded that there’s absolutely no evidence of there being any such thing as a god. She’s still as nice as she’s always been. She’s one of my best friends and I love her like a sister. I just don’t know what to say to her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I’ve heard many say that the “cross” should really be the “tree.” Could you go into more detail about this? I’m wondering how this applies to how our Lord was crucified and the Roman use of crucifixion? Was Christ really crucified in the same manner that is commonly depicted?
