I have been in a love relationship with a girl for more than 7 years now. A year ago she got into a forced marriage that was arranged by her parents. Her husband is good to her but she has not accepted him and she wants to divorce him and come back to me. Her family does not want them to divorce but we are seeking God’s guidance. We don’t know if we are doing wrong or committing sin by doing this. Please guide us by your spiritual understanding.

I know I’m a sinner in need of a Savior, but I try every day to do the Lord’s will and better myself. I am born in the Roman Catholic faith. What I would like to know is must I continue to embrace the religion and attend mass knowing what I know now (growing spiritually) or must I stay home and just read the Bible from now on?

You have stated in response to a previous question: “In this verse God gave permission to a Jewish man to divorce his wife if he hath found some uncleanness in her. What does that mean? The word ‘uncleanness’ is rendered ‘indecency’ in many translations, and it refers to ‘sexual indecency.’ Does this mean that his wife was guilty of adultery? If one was guilty of adultery it was punishable by death.” My question to you is this: Is it not correct to say that if the wife had been caught in adultery, and the adultery was witnessed by at least two witnesses, only then would she be put to death?
