1 Corinthians 7:9 states, “But if they do not have self-control, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.” (NASB). Does this verse mean that if one marries, they will no longer “burn with passion”? I have been married for 22 years and for the last 9 years my wife and I have not been sexually intimate. Please elaborate on “burning with passion” and how marriage impacts burning with passion.
