Regarding Jesus’ disciples baptizing. John preached a baptism of repentance from sin. What did Jesus’ disciples baptize? In the name of Jesus? I’m assuming, because I don’t know where else it says, but the Holy Spirit had not yet been given. So, in the pre-Pentecost days, to what did Jesus’ disciples baptize?

Our church will not teach on eschatology because they call that an open-ended issue. I believe prophesy and the end times are a large part of the Bible and should be taught. What are your thoughts on this issue?
