Although it makes sense for the unsaved to be apart from the saved in Heaven, why does hell have to be such a harsh punishment, for example, why can’t the unsaved simply exist eternally in a sort of immobile environment where there would not be eternal suffering and pain? I was baptized when I was 8 years old. Although I was very young, I still remember it with such clarity.
