There’s a lady I’ve been going out with for quite some time. I really love her but yesterday she told me she started going out with someone else and that she’s planning to get married soon. What she told me has left me broken, confused, and shattered. Why would God allow me to meet her if He knew it was not meant to be for us to settle in marriage? How does one get to be strong in such times?

In Matthew 19:3-9 it is said you commit adultery if you marry a man/woman that put away their partner except for fornication. I met a guy 2 months ago who was divorced by his wife for fornication. Now he is my boyfriend and he wants to marry me. If I do marry him, will I be committing adultery?

I stayed with a lady for four years in one house without a child and without bride price or any official vow, but with full knowledge of the relatives. The relationship broke down and we separated and I have gotten another lady who has born a child and I now want to wed her officially in the church. Can the first relationship be considered as marriage? Am I scripturally allowed to marry the second lady?

I’ve been in a serious relationship for around 3 years. My mom isn’t a big fan of him as he isn’t from a rich family. She tells me that it isn’t God’s will. I need to know if I can marry him. Will it be bad for our future if this isn’t really Gods will? Also, how do I find out if it is Gods will or not?

I just read a post about a woman asking how she can strike a balance of spending time with her unbeliever friend. My question is how about a husband that was a believer. He had at one time during our married believed, but for the past several years, he does not.
